Hi, I’m back! I’ve been on hiatus from blogging and it took me a month and half to actually write again. I won’t delve on the details but all I can say is, I was all because of work. I missed my blog 😦 I missed writing. And most of all I missed new friends (fellow bloggers, readers, drifters) I met here on the net. But now I’m back, I’m so excited to write again!

On to my Outfit of the Day. My look is Parisian-inspired.

I am a huge lover of anything French. From the movies and books I’ve encountered, I do believe there is something romantic about Paris. I am at awe on how rich French culture is: food, places, films, music and fashion. France is on top of my “places-to-visit” list.

Wearing simple pieces helped channeling my inner Parisian chic. ❤

Where I wore this? On a night out with new friends. 🙂

These girls are so much fun to hang out with. We lived together for a month and I guess we clicked because of similar interests and personality. Plus, they are all nice!

OOTD#8 Boots & Stripes

It has been raining here in my country quite a few times and would get super cold. In these kind of weather, you mostly could find me at the safe haven of my bed with tons of pillows and deeply asleep. It feels so great to laze about on bed when it’s cold. During rainy days, I don’t usually make an effort dressing up. I like to wear something more laid-back. I would wear jackets, long-sleeved tops, leggings and accessorize with scarves or beanies then viola, done. For footwear, flats or rubber shoes would do. Simple, nothing fussy. What matters to me is I get warm!

Lo and behold, the forever debate between comfort over style. Which do you prefer? For me, I would choose both just to be safe. And c’mon, you can do both. You can be comfortable and fashionable with what you wear at the same time. But I do admit, in some instances I prioritize style. Like when something (example, a dress) doesn’t fit on me, of course, you wouldn’t wear it anymore. Well for me, if it’s a favourite dress of mine, I wouldn’t care if it doesn’t fit, I’ll still wear it. Admit it, you’re also like this. Aren’t you? Hmmmmmm…. LOL  😀

Big THANKS to those who read my posts and for the likes&love.
Also grateful for the people who would always leave me comments!
Now I ask you,
which do you prefer? Comfort or style?

Let me know!

Blog Thoughts: Dsquared2: The Mean Girl Diary Capsue Pre-Fall 2013-14 Starring Jasmine Tookes

Hey everybody!
So yesterday, I got to watch this video from FashionTV via Youtube, Dsquared2: The Mean Girl Diary Capsue Pre-Fall 2013-14 Starring Jasmine Tookes.

Dsquared2 is one of my favorite designers. Dean and Dan Caten are so amazing. I’m so in love with their style and the designs. I love watching their runway shows and the clothes (don’t even get me started 😀 ). The clothes give off personality, attitude and sophistication. I especially like it when they have formal pieces (like a gown) and adding something unusual (a leather cap) that would not entirely throw off the whole look but spicing it up a little, which makes their style so unique. Plus their clothes can be worn by anyone of any age.
